Message from KG Principal

A hearty greeting and a warm welcome to the wondrous world of learning and discovery that is Kindergarten at Northwest Bilingual School! As we set out on this exciting adventure together, filled with opportunities for learning, growth, and exploration, it gives me great pleasure to extend my best wishes to each of you.

We, at Northwest Bilingual Kindergarten, are sensitive to the specific requirements of our youngest students and are dedicated to creating an atmosphere that is both nurturing and stimulating so that they may realize their full potential. Our hardworking group of teachers is enthusiastic about establishing the groundwork for a learning zeal that will last a lifetime. We adhere to the philosophy that each child should be encouraged to develop a sense of wonder, curiosity, and originality while being led through the preliminary stages of formal education.

We place an emphasis on taking a well-rounded approach that takes into account not only the development of academic skills but also of social and emotional maturity as well. We hope to instill in our students a healthy sense of self-confidence as well as a constructive outlook on the educational process by having them participate in a variety of activities that are both educational and entertaining.

To the parents and guardians, we would like to acknowledge and express our gratitude for the trust that you have placed in us so that we may participate in the early education of your child. Your participation and support are extremely valuable, and we highly recommend maintaining open lines of communication between the home and the school.

As we set out on this journey together, I cannot contain my excitement to learn more about each of our young students and the families they come from. Help your child thrive, make new friends, and build a solid foundation for future success by working with me to establish a setting that is both nurturing and inspiring.

So, I will leave you with the following words, to further emphasize the importance of this
style of learning.

Mrs. Amina Scott

‘Children learn as they play. More importantly, in play, children learn how to learn.’ Fred Donaldson

‘Play gives children a chance to practice what they are learning’, Mr. Rogers,
