Staff Housing

The staff housing is available for overseas hires of Northwest Bilingual School. Housing facility is provided as per the school’s internal policy which is shared with the prospective employees after the selection process.

The housing is comfortable, completely furnished, climate controlled, independent apartment inclusive of utilities (water, electricity, internet). It has spacious single bedroom, living room, kitchen and washroom. It provides all possible items required to start living from the very first day of arrival such as electronic appliances, basic home furnishing, cutlery etc.

The housing building is located in Mahboula which is mostly populated by western expats in Kuwait and its 30 minutes’ drive from school.

Mahboula has many residential complexes and several restaurants on its coastline that include Smash burger, Burger King, Pizza Hut, Applebee’s, Dawat, Kababji, Domino’s Pizza and also coffee shops like Starbucks , Dunkin’ Donuts etc.

Beach is only at 8 minutes walking distance from the accommodation. Staff usually can spend good weakened time living in this area full of activities and water sports. School provides shared transportation to and from school which makes it convenient for the staff to reach school safe and on time.

Salary

• Monthly tax free and transferable salary is paid in Kuwaiti Dinars.
• The salary scale for teaching faculty is defined by qualifications and years of relevant work experience.
• Salary is paid for the contractual period starting from September till August for each academic year.

Housing and Transportation

• Independent furnished, climate controlled apartment inclusive of utilities (water, electricity, internet)
• Shared daily transportation is provided to and from school, given employee resides in company accommodation.

Airfare and Excess baggage allowance

• Yearly roundtrip airfare to home of record as per the passport.

Tuition Fee Discount For Dependents

• 100% tuition fee discount for 2 children enrolled at Northwest and 50% for subsequent ones.

Annual Leave

• Public holidays, winter break, spring break and summer holidays as per school calendar.

End of Service Benefit

• 15 days indemnity for each year of employment up to five years; increased to one month after completion of five years of service and thereafter and paid as end of service benefit.
